Snow Day

We've seen many snow days this season.  Spring will be here in a couple weeks.  Really?  This was taken while walking around the neighborhood.  I am a beginner when it comes to snow photography.

Liam's Cake

The first Birthday has to be special, right?.. so we hired a professional to make this cake.  I can only imagine the work that went into this.  I'm sure it's as much art and engineering as it is baking.  These are all of Liam's favorite things, and the cake tasted great!  I probably won't be ordering another one of these for a while.

Window Sitting

It's rare for me to capture both of my cats in the same photo.  This was one of those special moments when they were catching some cool air together.

The Kid & the Performer

Ready to Explore

I caught this one after her afternoon nap.  Typically she's not as photogenic as the other one.

Rushing Waters

It's not a giant waterfall, but large enough.  Awosting Falls is about a 60 foot drop.  While there are days when this falls is calm and peaceful, this was not one of those days.  This is the closest I've been to a waterfall.  I'm standing not more than 10 yards away from the rushing waters. (Location: Minnewaska State Park)

Lake Minnewaska

It's one of the better landscape photos I've taken.  What caught my attention was the house that looks like it was built into the mountains.
