Trains and sunsets

The good old 7 train pulling into Queensboro Plaza station at dusk, as the crowd waits eagerly.
For some people this is a way of life.

Christmas time in the city

It's Christmas.  A time when the city becomes a very interesting place, full of decorations, lights, and of course Christmas trees.  Aside from that, New York also becomes the coldest place on earth during the holidays.  This is a very special tree I found at Lotte New York Palace in midtown.

The Fog's Just Lifting

I can't believe it's been nearly 20 years since the movie "The Perfect Storm" was released.  It remains one of my favorites.  Thankful for the opportunity to spend a night over in Gloucester, MA.  Here's to the crew of the Andrea Gail, and all the fishermen who never came back home.

Fall Ballerina

On my most recent visit to Central Park, I participated in a photoshoot featuring the beauty and talent of ballet. (In frame: Caitlin Herzog)

Premiere

I've always had a lot of respect for independent filmmakers because of their dedication in producing a quality picture, given the limited resources.  "Infliction" was definitely one of the better ones I've seen.  Thankful for the privilege to shoot at this premiere event in the company these talented artists.  Pictured above is the wonderful cast and crew.

Mimic the Light

The past several weeks were all about learning new lighting techniques and getting more comfortable in a studio setting.  Totally worth it.  This is the picture I took for my final assignment.
